1. Make sure I know when your due date is! I will always leave available times throughout the surrounding weeks.

2. Let me know if you would like to get your hair and makeup done! I have the perfect artist for you!

3. Share any inspiration photos you would like to make sure we get at our session.

4. Let me know if you would like nude/breastfeeding photos as I would need to find a private location to do so.

4. Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure before our session, because mama you just gave birth to a baby and need a break!

5. Bring any baby items you would like in your photos. Ex: shoes, clothing, wraps, ultrasound pictures, etc.

6. Let me know what location you would like! studio, in-home, or even outdoor!

7. moisturize body 1-2 hours before our session to avoid any dry skin or shinny skin in photos! 

8. eat a light snack and drink plenty of water before to keep your energy up throughout the session. Also bring your own water bottle and snack, just in case I forget to bring one for you!

Tips and Tricks to Prepare for a Newborn Session With Me

For Baby

1. Give that precious baby of yours a bath the morning of our session! Try your best to get every nook and cranny! 

2. Feed baby right before our session! If you would like breastfeeding shots, be sure to let me know so we can prepare for that!

3. Bring any swaddles or pacifiers that your baby is currently liking!

4. Brush the babies hair and apllly lotion 1-2 hours before the session to avoid dry or oily looking skin.

5. Do your best to keep the baby awake before the session as we want that baby to sleep as much as possible!

6. Before the session, change your babies diaper into a fresh clean diaper.

7. Bring anything you would need for changing a diaper, feeding baby, and cleaning face during the session.

8. Clothing ideas! White, creams, and browns are my favorite! 

9. Turn up heat in house or bring anything to keep baby warm! This will help keep the baby sleeping.

10. Bring any sound machine you are currently using. I will always bring one but I prefer one that they are used to!
